Summary

The cleaning team will provide cleaning services to all office and associated areas within the company head office, the ultimate responsibility of this function rests with the Facilities Manager. Individuals must adopt a highly positive, proactive, flexible and professional approach and take a pride in their work.  

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the Company’s high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail are maintained at all times in all areas

  2. Agree with Cleaning Supervisor daily duties and scope of work to be completed that day.

  3. Ensure high familiarity with own specified area but understand all areas in order to provide cover on all floors.

  4. Ensure that the cleaning materials are stored in the correct manner and in accordance with procedure.

  5. Ensure that the cleaning recycling policy is adhered to and waste is segregated in the correct manner.

  6. Report all equipment faults to Supervisor immediately to ensure appropriate action is taken.

  7. Understand ordering procedure of consumables to be able to provide cover in Cleaning Supervisor’s absence.

  8. Ensure familiarity with Redrow Group’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.

  9. At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.

  10. Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
