To contribute to the ultimate acquisition of development sites across the region in order for land targets to be met

The Land buying team in Redrow Homes South West is responsible for identifying, evaluating and securing sufficient land/sites for residential development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with desktop land searches.

  • Assisting the Land Team with assessment of new development opportunities and preparation of bids and acquisition packs for board approval.

  • Assist in the co-ordination of information between the departments.

  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications and help co-ordinatedrawings and reports for submission.

  • Obtain ordnance survey maps via Promap and title information via land registry to assist with land searches.

  • Research planning information, such as planning history and planning policy data on Local Authority websites.

  • Conduct residential sales market research and write reports to support land bids and purchases.

  • Attend relevant internal and external meetings and take the minutes where appropriate and follow up action points.

  • Booking meeting rooms, setting up lunches and organising events.

  • Managing of the accounts systems and finance for the department.

  • Tracking and monitoring planning policy and applications.
