We have a dedicated Engagement team to support our work around Valuing People and Partners and inspiring the next generation to build and we are looking for a dynamic, self-starter to join our team as Community Engagement Graduate.

What we are looking for

The role will support our divisions to develop partnerships with primary and secondary schools, create community projects and support our employees with volunteering.

  • Help to inspire our employees in the divisions to deliver our newly created Educational resources for primary and secondary schools which will inspire young people, improve employability skills and provide opportunities for all with particular focus on social mobility
  • Support with the development of new educational resources, with particular focus on gamification and technology, by working in partnership with colleagues and external partners
  • Carry out training of Homebuilding Ambassadors across the business to deliver our educational resources
  • Work with the Divisions to create partnerships with primary and secondary schools
  • Develop partnerships with organisations such as Careers services, Princes Trust, Women in Construction to support and develop initiatives across the UK
  • Develop a charity framework to support Local and Strategic charitable investment activities across Redrow
  • Work with divisions to support and deliver community funded projects
  • Work with the team and the divisions to agree Objectives/Key Performance Indicators and monitor community engagement to provide reports and infographics to measure our impact
  • Support Engagement Groups within divisions
  • Support with the creation of case studies for Redrow’s careers website and intranet
  • The Person

  • strong IT skills including Microsoft Office; Excel; Power point
  • good understanding of data handling, ability to draft reports with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • drive and ambition with a positive “can do” attitude
  • good communication skills both written and verbal, with well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills
  • full UK driving license and the ability to travel nationally on a regular basis, including overnight stays

This is a two year fixed contract working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week, we invite candidates living in the North West area as although you will be travelling across the UK, you will be working with a team based in Deeside. However, consideration will be given for candidates working outside these areas in exceptional circumstances.
