The Role:

To carry out under supervision a range of technical duties allocated by the Technical Co-ordinator or other delegated members of the Technical Team.

The person must be reliable, conscientious, enthusiastic, passionate about house building/design and able to work in a busy team environment, displaying common sense and flexibility in supporting other team members.

Will have attained or awaiting results of A Level Physics or Mathematics based subjects.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within the Design and Technical Department to provide assistance in the preparation and maintenance of the Standard Housing Portfolio for the Redrow Group using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Accompanying Design & Technical Department Team Members on site visits. 
  • Attending Day Release at Wrexham College to study towards an HNC Construction and Built Environmentand progress to the Redrow Degree: Construction, Management in Housebuilding (BSc).
  • 6 weeks will be spent on a local development on site during the summer college break for the first 2 years of training.
  • Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s Health & Safety Policy in order to ensure a safe environment within the department.
  • Ensure familiarity with Redrow Group’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.
  • At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • To assist with the Departmental day to day general operational activities as required.
  • Contribute to improving the business and enhancing the reputation of the company by putting forward new ideas and by implementing change when requested to do so.


Working Relationships:

Good working relationships are required with all internal departments together with Site Sales and Build Teams to ensure information is communicated efficiently and effectively.

It is required that good levels of communication are also established with external consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, LA and NHBC Officers to ensure we get the required level of service for the Company.
