Summary

As part of the Design team, Assistant Designers at Redrow, help by administering information systems and providing design information to the department and other departments within the homes Division.

Working closely with guidance from the design team the assistant designer would also assist with the preparation of planning applications and packs. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To input and generate data as and when required, utilising the computer for drawing issues, registers, etc.

  • To assist with artwork preparation for presentation purposes.

  • To assist with the preparation of planning applications and packs under guidance from the Design team.

  • To assist with the management and operation of the departments electronic equipment including the plan plotter etc.

  • Preparation of coloured design drawings both on computer and manually.

  • Plotting and issuing of drawings to both internal and external bodies.

  • Taking telephone queries and questions to deal with or pass on to relevant members of the Design or Technical Team.
