Based in our Head Office at St David's Park, our Commercial Apprentices have the chance to learn all about Commercial Management from some of the best in the industry. It’s a two-year programme, delivered in partnership with Coleg Cambria and at the end of your apprenticeship, you will have gained excellent recognised qualifications as well as a wealth of experience.

For those who make a real mark, there’ll also be the opportunity to go on to study for your degree and gain a full RICS membership – all fully funded by us. There really is no better way to start your career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

To assist with administration duties at procurement stage, preparing enquiring packs and collating tender information.

To assist with the assembly of Health & Safety policies e.g COSHH reports

To assist with chasing information from both suppliers and sub-contractors deliveries

Departmental filing, photocopying and collation of information on a regular basis.

To assist with the issue of Health & Safety Contractor Competency Questionnaires for new contractors. 

Ensure familiarity with Redrow’s Group Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.

At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.

Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving the contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.

These are illustrative duties and the post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the region to respond effectively to the requirements of the business.

What we are looking for

To join our industry-leading programme, you’ll need at least 5 GCSEs at A* - C ( 9 - 4) including Maths and English as a preference.

During this 2 year programme, you will:

Be mentored by experienced staff in their field

Understand the commercial pressures and demands of a modern housebuilding development

Take active part in projects that test and develop your abilities, independent thinking and challenge and have a genuine impact on the business

 

This fantastic career oppertunity starts with our initial apprenticeship wage of £5 per hour.This would increase in your second year with the aim being to secure a permanent position on completion of your course.
