We are looking for a passionate, dedicated individual based at our Tamworth Learning and Development Centre to help support our apprentices  throughout England and Wales - if you like the idea of supporting young people as they learn skills, develop as employees and overcome barriers, this is absoltuley the role for you!

With the oppertunity to see all sides of our business across the uk, develop with training yourself and help deliver our award winning programme, this is a fantastic oppertunity for anyone looking to build their coaching, mentoring and coordination skills. 

Succesfull candidate will have a full clean driving licence and be available for national travel as required, experience working in a similar role or with direct evidence of coaching and mentoring others is desirable.

 

Key Responsibilities

Joining a small team and reporting to the New Entrants Programmes Manager, you will be;

 

Responsible for arranging regular visits to divisional offices and sites - ranging from Exeter to York, Preston to Maidstone -  conducting information and guidance coaching meetings with apprentices and trainees. Liaising with training providers, managers and contractors on apprentice performance and action planning.

Assisting with recruitment of apprentices across the company

Ensuring all apprentices and trainees receive help and support with qualification completion, conducting 1-1 or group coaching sessions on site, at colleges or our office locations.

Ensuring maximum available CITB levy grant is claimed and awarded for apprentices.

When required, assisting with the development of and delivery of training sessions tailored for apprentices and trainees

Identifying suitable award schemes for Redrow to enter and working with Engagement and Communications teams to promote our schemes on social, webbased and traditional media.

These are illustrative duties and the post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the region to respond effectively to the requirements of the business.
