Job Purpose:

To provide administration support and to work with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive service.

Scope:

The person must be reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious whilst displaying common sense and flexibility in supporting the Department.

 

 

 

What we are looking for

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support to the Design and Technical Director, Technical Manager and the Technical Team.
  • Organising Meetings/Seminars for Design and Technical Director with Divisional Company Directors and External Consultants.
  • Issuing and receiving technical information from External Contractors and recording it on the appropriate spreadsheets.
  • Liaising with the Technical Team and External Contractors regarding  technical information.
  • Contacting Redrow Division Technical Departments for technical information and processing any requests from Redrow Technical Department for information pertaining to the product from the Team.
  • Organising Site Visits for Design and Technical Director and the Technical Team across all divisional Companies.
  • Raising purchase orders using in house system.
  • Photocopying, scanning, collating technical drawings for the Technical Team.
  • Producing presentations when required pertaining to the product.
  • Maintaining electronic filing system for management of technical drawings including uploading onto electronic document management system
  • Ensure familiarity with Redrow’s Group Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.
  • At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving the contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.

Other ad hoc duties as required

These are illustrative duties and the post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the region to respond effectively to the requirements of the business.
