Summary

Job Purpose:

The role of Communications Apprentice presents an exciting opportunity to get involved in three key areas of Redrow’s communications activity; social media community management, public relations and online reputation management. 

The ideal candidate will need to be full of energy, creative, open to new ideas, have strong communication skills and be committed to supporting our customers through using our innovative systems and tools.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media 

  • To support and assist with customer interactions across our social media channels using our social media management tool
  • To observe and be involved in training new users from across the business on our platform
  • General administering of our social accounts 
  • Extrapolate social performance and weekly statistics 
  • Supporting marketing and communications campaigns
  • Monitoring direct and non direct competitor channels
  • Involvement in creative campaigns and outside-the-box thinking

Online Reputation

  • Help to administer Redrow’s online reputation across all channels
  • To observe and be involved in training new users from across the business on our platform
  • To provide data for regular reports

Public Relations 

  • Help provide support to Redrow’s network of PR agencies
  • Monitor online coverage through press reporting software
  • Assist in the proofing of press releases and other external communications

Other:

  • Provide administrative support to the communications team and wider colleagues in the business as required. 
  • Upload articles to our newsroom
  • Make general amendments and help to keep our websites up to date
  • Ensure familiarity with Redrow’s Group Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.
  • At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.
