Summary

This position is based in the Land and Acquisitions and demands absolute discretion and confidentiality. The person must have knowledge of the legal aspects of property acquisition, be able to use their own initiative, handle multiple priorities, be self-motivated and have excellent typing and organisational skills. They must also be proficient in the use of e-mail, Microsoft Word & Excel, and have worked with in a property legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Full secretarial support to the acquisition solicitors. This includes: -

  • File handling

  • Document production/form filling

  • Typing, including Legal Reports

  • Handling all phone calls and mail

  • Inputting data onto case management system correctly and accurately.

  • Requisition searches

  • Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns

  • Land Registry applications
