Summary

  • To assist with the preparation of planning applications under the guidance from the Design team

  • Assist with the production of layouts and technical reports

  • Provide technical and engineering support and information to Construction, Commercial and Sales departments

  • Prepare Sales and Legal information (Conveyance Plans, Sales Area Layouts and Site Compound Layouts & Transfer Plans)

  • Gain knowledge and experience in the use of AutoCAD

  • Uploading technical information to A-Site / Doc Hosting / In house systems[DF1] 

  • Assist with the preparation of home user guides under guidance from the Design team

  • Accompanying technical department team members on site visits

  •  [DF1]We always seem to reference SBMS but no-one outside of Redrow has any knowledge of it!

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Keen to learn and develop within the construction industry

  • Willing to undertake an additional qualification alongside work

  • Has a ‘can do’ attitude

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above (Grade C+) or an equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer literate

  • Ability to take on instructions

  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload

  • Able to work in teams as well as using own initiative

​Desirable

  • Previous experience of working within / knowledge of the construction sector

  • Good maths/quantitative skills

  • Driving license
