Summary

Summary

This is an active role based on a construction site.  There will be the necessity to traverse the site across and around excavations and rubble and work during inclement weather should the need arise.  There will, at times, be the necessity to access scaffolding by means of a ladder and work on the scaffolding, or from the ladder.

Scope:                                    

The Sales Department in a Homes Division is responsible for marketing and advertising the company’s developments locally, ensuring at all times that a professional, corporate image is projected which promotes the Redrow brand. The key objective is to achieve sales at the appropriate rates/prices in order to achieve the annual turnover forecast for the Division.

The Department is also responsible for managing all sales leads generated to their respective Division by Group Marketing activity, and closely monitoring conversion rates.

The Department works particularly closely with the Build Department as well as manages the interface between the various departments of the company and its customers, from initial contact through to plot completion and occupation; and post completion customer service.

The nature of the role requires the job holder to travel to all the Division’s developments and to spend time on each, as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.

Summary

The role of the Technical Department in a Homes Division is to provide a practical and cost effective technical service to the Division.


This will encompass site evaluation, architectural and engineering design, and the investigations of any technical problems encountered and provision of economical and viable solutions. This may involve liaison with, appointment of and co-ordination of external professionals.


The Technical Department are involved with the Redrow product from inception to completion.
The job holder will produce and or procure efficient layout design from the site acquisition, to planning application.

Summary

Job Purpose: To be the Head of the Commercial Department and to manage the Surveying and Purchasing departments, having overall responsibility for all expenditure and for controlling "Cost of Sales"; and taking a strategic view from Land Acquisition through to Customer Care initiatives.

The job holder provides overall commercial advice to the divisional Board and assists the Managing/Regional Director in the preparation of budgets and Strategic plans for the respective Homes Division.

The Construction Department in a Homes Division is responsible for the division’s developments which will vary from time to time including, any of Redrow’s product range ; ensuring construction of a quality product, safely, within agreed budgets and timescales and works particularly closely with the Sales Department to ensure Customer satisfaction. The Department also ensures the company’s policy on Health & Safety and the requirements of Health & Safety Legislation are met and safe working practices are actively encouraged.
