This Construction Management Degree programme allows you to gain valuable experience working on a Redrow development site and take part in our UK first Housebuilding Management BSc. This fast-paced, hands-on placement will enable you to work with a number of highly skilled professionals on site and get a first-hand insight into how our award winning homes are built, whilst working towards a full degree and CIOB membership, a truley world class start to your career. 

During this 3 year programme, you will:

  • Join our Redrow degree programme, Construction Management in Housebuilding BSc, delivered by Coleg Cambria and Liverpool John Moores University
  • Work in partnership with our trusted subcontractors
  • Be mentored by division’s Construction Director and site management teams, learning the essential skills of a Redrow Site Manager
  • Help to oversee all on-site trades and support the build programme
  • Learn to Manage site Health and Safety

Assistant Site Manager

Summary

Assistant Site managers on Redrow developments are typically responsible for ensuring the correct completion of works by all the sub-contract trades.

That working methods are performed correctly and to our demanding health, safety and environmental standards and best practices are encouraged is typically part of the role. Roles can vary depending on the size of the development and the immediate priorities of the Site manager.

FLT Driver

Summary

Responsible for the loading and off-loading of materials from delivery wagons into storage and also loading working platforms for various trades all in a safe and efficient manner.

 

This is an active role based on a construction site. Working in inclement weather will be required as the need arises. The time driving the forklift will be dependant upon how busy the site is and the job holder will be called upon to carry out general labouring duties when the forklift is not required.  There will, at times, be the necessity to access scaffolding by means of a ladder and work on the scaffolding or from the ladder.

Summary

As a firm, we pride ourselves on creating beautiful homes that communities love to live in and we apply the same level of care and attention to developing our apprentices and trainees too.

As a trade apprentice with Redrow, you will work with one of our trusted contractors, learning all of the skills and knowledge necessary to become competent in your chosen discipline and complete a quality product, utilising a variety of tools and processes. 

Some of the trades we support include;

Bricklaying
Carpentry
Painting and Decorating
Scaffolding
Plumbing
Electrical 
Groundworks
Ceramic TIling
Plastering 

You will work with experienced tradesmen of a wide range of disciplines, as well as being supported by your Site Manager and the Redrow team to complete an industry standard diploma and NVQ qualification, (typically level 2, but we will support level 3 applications if suitable) as well as required functional skills learning.
