Senior Project Engineer

The role of the Technical Department in an Operating Division is to provide a practical and cost effective technical service to the company.
This will encompass site evaluation, architectural and engineering design, the investigations of any technical problems encountered and provision of economical and viable solutions.  This may involve liaison with, appointment of and co-ordination of external professionals.
The technical department are involved with the Redrow product from inception to completion.

Summary

To be the Head of Construction and manage the Construction Team to provide a quality product efficiently, safely and professionally; within set budgets and agreed timescales, ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction.

The Construction Department in a Homes Division is responsible for the Divisions developments which will vary from time to time, including any of Redrow’s product range; ensuring construction of a quality product, safely, within agreed budgets and timescales and works particularly closely with the Sales Department to ensure Customer satisfaction.

The Department also ensures the company’s policy on Health & Safety and the requirements of Health & Safety Legislation are met and safe working practices are actively encouraged.

The job holder also liaises with other Departments, particularly Sales on a regular basis, in order to review and comment on a range of construction issues from potential sites through to existing developments.

Architectural Technician

To support the Technical Team.  To maintain the existing ranges of house type designs.  To assist in the production of new and existing national house type ranges, development of specifications and Standard Details to be used throughout the Group in our regional offices.

Experience preferable in a similar role within a Technical Department of a Housebuilder or Architectural Practice. Competence in the use of Autocad is essential . A good working knowledge of Revit is preferred.

Knowledge of current NHBC Standards & Building Regulations is vital, in addition to a comprehensive understanding of construction methods and techniques.
